From Mrs. Collins’ personal stash of gem-like, hand made marble paper. Line your stationery envelopes. Wrap gifts. Use as traditional end paper on custom ledgers hand bound by master book artists here in New Orleans.

As with engraving, marble paper was developed to serve as a security feature. Each sheet is marbled by hand and no two are alike rendering the appearance a difficult design to forge. Marble paper’s origins date back to the eleventh century.

Popularized in Florence, Italy for fancy stationery items, marble paper can also be used to line a bespoke, French-fitted case for your stationery suite.

Featured in the small detail, the lower right-hand corner is Spanish marbling. We are quite fond of working with this design and there are many more marble paper styles. Inquire for availability, colors, and designs in this very unique stash.
